Introduction to Clinical Research
Presented by the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Center for Clinical Investigation and Department of Medicine, this daylong course run by local faculty, held at BWH, is designed to give those interested in pursuing a career in clinical research an introduction to how research is conducted specifically at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. It is also an opportunity for participants to meet local leaders in clinical research. This intensive daylong course of lectures and small breakout group discussions covers the fundamentals of clinical research and is for junior and new faculty, post doctorates, fellows, and advanced residents who would like to be better prepared to design and conduct their own research at BWH. This is a unique opportunity to learn from and meet with experienced clinical researchers at BWH who will provide you with the tools and resources to facilitate your research at this institution.

Technical Training Session on ClinicalTrials.gov Registration and Results Reporting
This training was offered to investigators and study staff to provide the tools to navigate the ClinicalTrials.gov database proficiently and ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements.
The workshop included a practical summary of current regulatory requirements and consequences of noncompliance, technical training to complete the registration and results reporting modules, and tips/considerations to avoid common errors. A live walk through a test record in the database was also included.
